My Must Haves with Marks and Spencers

Paid partnership with Marks and Spencer

So this is quite an exciting one, I’ve teamed up with the guys at Marks and Spencer to showcase some of their new Autumn collection. Now when the guys and M&S came to me, I was initially hesitant – I’ve never shopped from their clothing range before, and had also picture images of ‘Dad wear’ with blue and white check shirts and beige chinos – but wow was I wrong.

The guys gave me the challenge of styling an item from Must Haves range, a selection of clothing bits that should with in every mans wardrobe, from a suits to jumpers. I chose their classic white shirt. A white shirt is obviously a staple for anyone’s wardrobe and lends itself for any sort of style. I could’ve gone for literally anything with this challenge which is something I loved. Now, I’m not going to lie to you and say I have done anything ground breaking, I really haven’t – I’ve added a jacket and jeans – but what I do love is that it allowed me to really explore the whole M&S range of products, and made me realise that actually there were so many bits I love.

Being me, I obviously had to go for skinny jeans – I mean, I wouldn’t pick anything else really would I! However the item that I have fallen in love with is their Cotton Blend Trench Coat with Stormwear. It’s part of their luxury collection, while still remaining completely affordable at £149 – perfect for anyone looking for a stylish autumnal jacket without having to break the bank. The lining is removal, which is great for these days where Mother Nature can’t decide if she is hot or not, while the Stormwear allows for you to remain dry for the sudden downpours.

So Marks and Spencer has well and truly surprised me. It is affordable with great quality, the cuts are modern yet classic, stylish while remaining universally wearable and now I have a fantastic coat that I haven’t actually taken off yet, a great fitting Must Haves crisp white shirt and another pair of classic black skinny jeans – and I’m literally not saying this because it was a paid for challenge, I am obsessed with this jacket and can’t wait to wear it on long walks through Richmond Park!
